Alittle about our farm
Heavenly Springs Farm was started by my mother years ago. We always had lots of animals and raised most of them for 4-H. When I was in college, my mother and I decided to start raising horses again. She raised them for years before us kids took up all of her time. We first found Zip. He was a wonderal additional of our family. We already had wonderful mares that my mother raised.
We have raised horses for several years. Now, our lives have changed. I am married with a son of my own. My mother is ready to quit raising horses and have more time for other things. My little sister wants to start raising show chickens. We still have most of our wonderful horses and don't plan to let them go. They are family.
Both of us see the need to live a more natural and healthy lifestyle. At both of our homes, we have planted fruit trees and grape vines. We also raise chickens for their healthy eggs. We try to stay as natural as we can.
I have taken many steps to ensure that my family has a healthier life. I started raising Nubian goats. My family drinks the raw milk from them. I started making goat cheese and other dairy products. This spring honey bees were added to the farm and so were angora rabbits. I also plant a huge garden. I freeze and can the fruit and vegetables from my farm.
I also love being able to make my own products from my farm. I make goat milk soap from my goats and spinning the wool from my rabbits.
I will have many of the items I make for sale. My mother, sister, and I will have hatching eggs and chicks for sale out of our chickens.
Please feel free to email us. We love sharing our animals and farms with others.
